L-arginine is an amino acid, one of the building blocks of protein. You get some from foods like turkey, chicken, pork, pumpkin seeds, peanuts and soy. 2. L-Arginine AKG 2:1 (200 mg)
Arginine AKG is arginine joined to alpha-ketoglutarate, a compound your cells use in the Krebs cycle, the main process that turns food into energy. The 2:1 ratio means two parts arginine to one part AKG. Adding this second form brings the total arginine in VapoCept to 400 mg per capsule, and links the blood flow side of the formula to the energy side.
3. L-Citrulline HCl (100 mg)
L-citrulline is an amino acid that was first found in watermelon, which is where its name comes from. Your body converts citrulline into arginine, mostly in the kidneys.
